What is MLM? What is MLM? If you've been on the internet for a while, then chances are you've probably heard the term "MLM" and that it has something to do with selling products online. But, what is MLM exactly? When most of us think of making money online, we tend to think of the negative connotations that come along with it. We tend to think of scams, get-rich-quick schemes and the like. However, there are a lot more legitimate businesses online than people realize. But if you can discern between what is a legitimate opportunity versus what isn't, and if you have the right work ethic, then making money with MLM could be the right place for you. Study the company's track record - Does the company have a strong track record? After knowing and understanding what MLM is on a broad basis, it is just as important to understand your own particular MLM that you wish to get involved with. There are a multitude of MLMs available 2. Learn about the product - Is the product actually worth selling? Each MLM comes with its own line of products that they want their affiliates to sell to other people. Learning what is MLM and understanding the products will only enable you to be more effective at selling them to other people or better yet, if they're even products you would even want to personally use. 3. Ask Questions Not all of the relevant information about the MLM business may be readily available. If you're unsure about something or if something isn't clear, ask for clarity. Understand restrictions It is always a good rule of thumb to know the limitations/drawbacks of the MLM opportunity you're pursuing.
